FAQs

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card built directly into your smartphone or device, allowing you to connect to mobile networks without needing a physical SIM. It works just like a traditional SIM—giving you data, calls, and texts—but is entirely digital and managed through your device’s settings.

With eSIM technology, you can activate and switch between multiple mobile plans instantly, making it ideal for travel, business, or managing separate numbers on the same phone. Simply scan a QR code, and you’re connected—no swapping cards or visiting a store.

Stay connected anywhere, anytime, with the flexibility and convenience of an eSIM.

As soon as you complete your purchase, your eSIM is delivered instantly to your email — no waiting, no shipping. Just scan the QR code we send you, follow the quick setup steps, and you’re ready to connect. Please note that because eSIMs are digital products, purchases are non-refundable once delivered.

Once you’ve purchased your plan, we’ll instantly email you a QR code and along with a setup guide. Open the QR on another screen or print it out, then on your phone go to: Settings → Mobile/Cellular Data → Add Data Plan → Scan QR Code. You can rename the plan for easy reference and switch between your Roamzi plan and your main carrier anytime. Your data will activate once you arrive at your destination — just turn on Data Roaming and you’re connected.

We recommend installing your eSIM before you travel so it’s ready to activate when you land. The setup takes less than two minutes, and you’ll need an internet connection (like Wi-Fi) for installation. Once you arrive at your destination, simply enable Data Roaming and start browsing instantly. For peace of mind, you can also print your QR code before your trip.

You can easily track your remaining data by logging into your Roamzi account and visiting the “My eSIMs” section. There you’ll find your eSims, active plans and current data balance.

Yes, you can use your physical SIM and eSIM together. Many users keep their home SIM active for calls and SMS while using Roamzi for data. Just ensure your phone’s data settings are set to use Roamzi’s eSIM to avoid roaming charges on your primary SIM.
